Enjoy a rich and hearty meal anytime with this complete spaghetti and meatball dinner. It includes six big and juicy meatballs made from a rich blend of beef, herbs, and cheeses bathing in a savory tomato sauce. Complementing the classic Italian dish are delicious angel hair pasta and garlic bread. Be sure to save room for a slice of the buttery apple crostata when it's time for dessert. Everything is heat and serve, meaning there's less mess and more time to mingle while the house fills with the smell of spices simmering in the oven.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Meatballs
• For best results, cook from frozen. Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Remove plastic wrap, cover with aluminum foil, and place tray on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
• Bake for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Angel Hair Pasta
• Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Use about 4-6 quarts of water per pound of pasta.
• Add pasta to the boiling water and stir gently to prevent sticking.
• Boil for 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente (tender but still firm to the bite).
• Drain the pasta in a colander.
• Toss immediately with sauce or olive oil and serve.
Bake-at-Home Garlic Bread
• OVEN: Preheat to 425°F. Remove bread from packaging and separate the halves. Smooth out the spread evenly on each half, and place them seasoned-side up on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
• GRILL: Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove bread from packaging and separate the halves. Smooth out the spread evenly on each half, and place crust-side down on a sheet of aluminum foil. Wrap the foil up the sides, keeping the seasoned sides exposed for ventilation. Place foil-side down on heated grill for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Apple Crostata
• No baking required. Can be served chilled, at room temperature, or warm.
• To serve warm, preheat oven to 400°F.
• Cover thawed crostata loosely with aluminum foil and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
• Heat for 10 minutes or until warm to the touch.
